The first thing that comes to mind when one speaks of “popular” travelling destinations is the same regular monotonous list of Paris, New York, London, Dubai, Singapore and other metropolises around the globe, the gems of the standing world as you may call. But if one tends to look deeper, stray a little from the conventional idea of “destinations” and stress more on the “travel”, you will encounter people and places of such wonder and breathtaking beauty, pristine and untouched by the very concrete jungles we look to escape from, brimming with a culture and history as unique as life itself, tucked away in unexpected corners of the globe that will quite literally..Knock Your Socks Off!! To this day, the Sea of Galilee supplies Israeli fishermen in the town of Tiberius. For all its beauty and splendor and for the rich history that it harbors, the Sea of Galilee is a sight not to be missed by anyone embarking on the Holy Land Tours … METEORA, Greece Meteora means suspended in air. Hermit Byzantine monks in the ninth century first inhabited these mountains, living on fissures and caves along the rocks to spend time with God. At first only ladders and ropes was the only way to reach these monasteries. During the 1920s steps were carved out making it more accessible. Today only six monasteries remain.
